Piers Morgan issued an apology to Jay-Z and Beyoncé after a guest on his streaming YouTube show made explosive claims about the couple and their ties to embattled music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs.
Morgan read the apology at the top of the Tuesday, Oct. 9, episode of Piers Morgan Uncensored, in response to allegations R&B singer Jaguar Wright made about the power couple last week on the show.

The outspoken British host told his viewers he was contacted by Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s lawyers regarding the comments Wright made.
“Jaguar Wright unexpectedly made several serious allegations about Jay-Z and Beyonce during that interview. As I said, in the moment, they were not present to respond or defend themselves. But now they have,” Morgan said.
“Their lawyers contacted us to say that those claims were totally false and have no basis in fact. And we’ve therefore complied with the legal request to cut them from the original interview. Editing interviews is not something we do lightly on a show called Uncensored. But, like the proverbial cries of fire in a crowded theater, there are legal limits on us, too. And we apologize to Jay-Z and Beyoncé,” Morgan added.
Wright called Jay-Z and Diddy “monsters” on the Oct. 2 installment of Morgan’s show, which has been viewed nearly 4 million times.
“For four years I’ve been screaming not just Diddy, but Diddy and Jay-Z are monsters,” Wright said on Morgan’s show.
Asked why she thought Jay-Z hadn’t publicly addressed Diddy’s arrest, she responded: “Because that’s what he does. He starts little fires everywhere and forces everyone to carry water while he sneaks away without a response.”
Wright also alleged that Jay-Z and Beyoncé are a “nasty little couple, they do nasty things.”
It wasn’t the first time Wright shared her thoughts on Jay-Z. The singer has previously made similar claims about Jay-Z, Diddy, and Beyoncé on a string of podcast interviews.
