The team at S.W.A.T. will say goodbye in May.

In a press release on Monday, April 8, CBS announced the air date for the final episode of the police drama.

Along with S.W.A.T., the primetime shows Bob Hearts Abishola and Young Sheldon will end their runs in May.

Bob Hearts Abishola is set to conclude on Monday, May 6 at 8:30 pm after five seasons. The sitcom about an American man who falls in love with his Nigerian nurse, premiered in 2019. The series stars Billy Gardell, Folake Olowofoyeku, and Gina Yashere; and was created by Chuck Lorre, Eddie Gorodetsky, Al Higgins, and Gina Yashere.

Young Sheldon will end with back-to-back episodes on Thursday, May 16 at 8 p.m. The Big Bang Theory prequel debuted in 2017 and has been on the air for seven seasons. The sitcom stars Iain Armitage, Zoe Perry, and Jim Parsons. Chuck Lorre and Steven Molaro created the show for CBS.

S.W.A.T. will bid farewell after seven seasons on Friday, May 17 at 8 p.m.

CBS first canceled the drama in May 2023. But after pushback from series star Shemar Moore and fans, the network opted to bring the show back for a final season and a proper sendoff.

“We have listened to our viewers and their outpouring of passion for S.W.A.T. and we have reached an agreement to renew it for a final season of 13 episodes to air during the 2023-2024 broadcast year,” executives from CBS and Sony Pictures Television said in a joint statement last year, as previously reported.

The series about an elite LAPD squad premiered in 2017.

In addition to Moore, the cast includes Alex Russell, Kenny Johnson, Jay Harrington, David Lim, Patrick St. Esprit, and Rochelle Aytes.

Executive producers are Shawn Ryan, Justin Lin, Neal Moritz, Marney Hochman, Pavun Shetty, Billy Gierhart, Andy Dettman Paul Bernard, and Moore.
