A concertgoer who says she was “struck” by a microphone Cardi B threw into a crowd on Saturday, filed a battery report the next day with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.

“On July 30, 2023, an individual came into an LVMPD police station to report a battery,” police said in a statement to the media. “According to the victim, she was attending an event on July 29, 2023, at a property located in the 3500 block of Las Vegas Boulevard. During a concert, she was struck by an item that was thrown from the stage. The incident has been documented on a police report and no arrest or citations have been issued.”

According to TMZ, the rapper was listed as a battery suspect on the report.

Viral video posted on social media showed the “Bodak Yellow (Money Moves)” rapper hurling the mic into the audience at Drai’s Beachclub after she was splashed with a drink. The microphone reportedly bounced off one woman and hit a second woman.

TMZ reports the woman who filed the police report was hit when the microphone bounced off the first concertgoer.

The show took place outside in triple digit heat. Footage posted on Instagram by The Neighborhood Talk showed an announcer telling the crowd “Splash her down. Give her some water, splash her the f–k down.”

At one point Cardi B says, “Whew, that s–t feels good.”

The footage is edited, but it does show Cardi admonishing someone in the audience for splashing her in the face with liquid.

“I said splash my p–y, not my face b–h,” she says from the stage.
