Cardi B threw a microphone at a fan who tossed a drink her way while the rapper was performing at Drai’s Beachclub on Saturday in Las Vegas.

Video posted on social media showed Cardi belting out “Bodak Yellow (Money Moves)” when someone splashed her with a drink.

The rapper look surprised, but only for a second. She responded by throwing her microphone into the audience. Several security guards then jumped into the crowd to confront the person who threw the drink.

The show took place outside in triple digit heat.

Footage posted on Instagram by The Neighborhood Talk showed an announcer telling the crowd  “Splash her down. Give her some water, splash her the f–k down.”

At one point Cardi says, “Whew, that s–t feels good.” It’s unclear if the rapper said that before or after she was splashed in the face.

The July 29 incident made headlines after several other artists had objects thrown at them on stage in recent weeks, including Drake and pop star Bebe Rexha, who was struck in the face and injured by a cell phone during a June concert in New York City.

  1. So I guess “singers” not really singing at concerts is the norm now since it wasn’t even pointed out the recording kept playing even though she wasn’t “singing” along?
