Angus Cloud, an up-and-coming actor best known for his role as “Fezco” on the HBO series Euphoria, has died. He was 25.
In a statement to the media, the actor’s family said he passed away Monday in Oakland, just days after his father was laid to rest.
“It is with the heaviest heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today. As an artist, a friend, a brother and a son, Angus was special to all of us in so many ways. Last week he buried his father and intensely struggled with this loss. The only comfort we have is knowing Angus is now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend,” the statement read.
“Angus was open about his battle with mental health and we hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence,” the family added.

An HBO spokesperson said the actor will be remembered for his talent.
“We are incredibly saddened to learn of the passing of Angus Cloud. He was immensely talented and a beloved part of the HBO and Euphoria family. We extend our deepest condolences to his friends and family during this difficult time,” the network’s statement read.
TMZ, which was among the first outlets to report on Cloud’s death, said the Oakland Police Department and the fire department responded to a 911 call made around 11:30 a.m. by Cloud’s mother.
She said there had been a “possible overdose” and her son did not have a pulse, the outlet reported. Cloud was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Citing a source, the outlet additionally reported that Cloud had been struggling with grief since returning from his father’s funeral in Ireland.
Cloud was born in Oakland on July 10, 1998.
He starred on Euphoria from 2019 to 2022. The actor also had roles in the films North Hollywood (2021) and The Line (2023), as well as in music videos for Juice WRLD and Becky G.
