As the holiday magic spirals out of control — Chris, his wife Carol, played by Tracee Ellis Ross, and their three children find themselves trying to safeguard the Christmas spirit for all.

The movie reunites Murphy with director Reginald Hudlin for the first time since their hit film Boomerang was released in 1992.
