Bounce TV is marking Juneteenth with a special broadcast of the 2023 Black Music Honors.
The program airs tonight at 7 p.m. ET.
This year, award-winning musical group SWV received the Urban Music Icon Award. Other honorees included hip-hop superstar Missy Elliott, disco superstar Evelyn “Champagne” King, R&B singer Jeffrey Osborne, and gospel trailblazers The Hawkins Family.

The show also marked 50 years of hip hop and included performances by Da Brat, Xscape’s LaTocha Scott, Anthony Hamilton, Tina Campbell, Robin Thicke, Juvenile, Queen Naija, Jacquees, Raheem DeVaughn, Kenny Lattimore, Lil’ Mo, Sevyn Streeter, Tweet, Elle Varner, The Shindellas, and more.
The annual event celebrates Black music and honors artists who have shaped the industry, and left an indelible mark on the culture.
The 8th annual awards were produced by Chicago-based production company Central City Productions.

The 2023 Black Music Honors air tonight, June 19 at 7 p.m. ET. on Bounce TV.
The awards were recorded at Atlanta’s Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre. DeRay Davis and LeToya Luckett returned as hosts.
The show will continue airing in national syndication broadcast running until July 2
