‘BMF’ Season 3 Premiere Date and Plot Details Announced

BMF will return in March 2024, with Meech laser-focused on growing his empire.

On Wednesday, Starz unveiled the premiere date and plot details for season 3 of the crime drama.

Set in the early 1990s, the new season will find the Flenory family trying to reinvent themselves, as Meech moves to Atlanta to build up the Black Mafia Family drug distribution network he started in Detroit with his brother Terry.

The series stars Demetrius Flenory, Jr. as his real-life father Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory, and Da’Vinchi as Terry “Southwest T” Flenory.

Season 2 ended with a long-awaited confrontation between Meech and crooked Detective Bryant (Steve Harris), a strip club shootout with Goldie (Mo’Nique) exacting revenge, and Terry growing closer to his married girlfriend, Markesha (La La Anthony).

Starz dropped a new promo on Wednesday teasing  the upcoming seasons of Power Book IV: Force; Power Book III: Raising Kanan; and BMF.

The video shows a diamond-encrusted necklace with the letters “BMF” being put into an evidence envelope. In another part of the promo, Meech walks into a club flanked by his crew.

BMF is executive produced by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson through his G-Unit Film and Television, alongside showrunner, executive producer, writer, and Detroit native Randy Huggins (Star, Power). Heather Zuhlke serves as executive producer and interim showrunner. Anthony Wilson and Anne Clements are also executive producers.

The series returns on Friday, March 1, 2024 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Starz in the U.S. and Canada on Starz. New episodes will be available Fridays at midnight ET/PT on the Starz app, all Starz streaming and on-demand platforms, and internationally on the Lionsgate+ premium streaming platform in the U.K. and Ireland.
