The season 3 cast of BMF is expanding with the addition of 2 Chainz and Ne-Yo.

Starz made the announcement on Tuesday, Feb. 21, saying the Grammy-winning performers are joining the hit crime drama in recurring roles next season.

Per the network, 2 Chainz will play “Stacks,” described as “an Atlanta-born and bred distributor whose wisdom and stature command respect wherever he goes. Fiercely loyal and determined to provide for his family no matter the cost, Stacks lives by the street code and challenges Meech’s leadership style.”

Ne-Yo boards the series as “Rodney ‘Greeny’ Green,”  who is “a local Atlanta player who’s all about making the bag. Filled with swagger and an entrepreneurial spirit, there’s more than meets the eye to Greeny.”

The drug distribution drama is inspired by the true story of Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory and his brother Terry “Southwest T” Flenory.

The two siblings rose from the decaying streets of southwest Detroit in the late 1980s to create Black Mafia Family — one of the most influential drug rings in the U.S.

“Big Meech” is portrayed on the series by his son, Demetrius “Lil Meech” Flenory Jr. While Da’Vinchi plays Terry. Russell Hornsby and Michole Briana White play their parents.

BMF is executive produced by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, through his G-Unit Film and Television in association with Lionsgate Television for Starz.

Detroit native Randy Huggins created the series and serves as showrunner, executive producer, and writer. Heather Zuhlke, Anthony Wilson and Anne Clements are also executive producers.

Season 2 of BMF is currently airing on Fridays at midnight ET on the Starz app, all Starz streaming and on-demand platforms and internationally on the Lionsgate+ premium streaming platform in the UK and Brazil. On TV, the series airs on Starz at 8:00 PM ET/PT in the U.S. and Canada.
