Season 5 of the relationship series will feature Chance and Tabitha Brown; R&B singer Kenny Lattimore and Judge Faith Jenkins; Grammy winner Ledisi and husband Ron Young; Singer/Songwriter Tank and Zena Foster; Greenleaf actor Keith David and his wife Dionne; and stylist Jason Bolden and interior designer Adair Curtis; along with couples from every walk of life.
The docuseries celebrates love stories from the Black community and seeks to answer the question, “What does it take to make a marriage work?”

Black Love will “discuss topics from early days of marriage to navigating finances, religious differences, parenting, and the unexpected twists that are part of every couples’ journey” in season 5, OWN said in a press release.
After previously airing on Saturdays, the series joins Ready to Love on Friday nights.
Black Love was created by husband-and-wife filmmakers Codie Elaine Oliver and Tommy Oliver. They have been married for six years and are raising three sons under five years old.
Season 4’s celebrity couples included Dulé Hill and Jazmyn Simon, Jemele Hill and Ian Wallace, Bill and Kristen Bellamy, and Deborah Joy Winans and Terrence Williams.
As previously reported, the series has consistently ranked as #1 in its time slot across all cable with African American women ages 25-54.
Season 5 of Black Love will premiere with back-to-back episodes on Friday, May 14 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on OWN.
