The cast is set and the games are sure to begin when Basketball Wives returns for season 12 in May.
Evelyn Lozada, Jackie Christie, Jennifer Williams, Brandi Maxiell, and Brittany Renner are the returning OGs, VH1 announced Monday.
In the announcement on Instagram, the network said the tea will be “scorching” and things will get “messy.”
This season, the reality show is adding a multi-generational twist, with Jackie Christie’s daughter Chantel Christie-Jeffries stepping into the spotlight. While Jackie is eager to mentor her daughter, Chantel is determined to create her own path.
Other new players this season include beauty mogul Ming Lee and former WNBA star Ty Young.
Per VH1, “Ty Young’s move to LA with Ming Lee, once a dream, has turned into a complicated breakup, forcing both to navigate their next steps in life and love under the public eye.”

Meanwhile, Jennifer Williams is navigating her new marriage, but her husband’s ongoing legal issues threaten to overshadow their happiness.
As previously reported, Williams married Christian Gold just days after his arrest for violating probation.
Gold, who was released from prison in 2018 after serving 30 months for false imprisonment related to a domestic violence case, violated his probation terms by traveling to Europe with Jennifer on vacation in July 2024 without permission from his probation officer.
Due to the pending wedding last fall, the judge in the case allowed him to serve two days before taking off to Paris to get married. The two exchanged vows on Sept. 14, in Paris.
Christian, who openly discussed his troubled past on season 11, admitted serving time for grand theft auto.
In the new season, Jennifer also faces unresolved issues with Evelyn, leading to a much-anticipated confrontation, according to VH1.
Executive producer and former cast member Shaunie Henderson will also make a guest appearance this season.
The show is produced by Truly Original and Shed Media, with executive producers Steven Weinstock, Glenda Hersh, Lauren Eskelin, Luke Neslage, and Davis Reidpath for Truly Original. For VH1, Tiffany Lea Williams, Angela Aguilera, Melanie Collier Lodge, and Mimi Blanchard serve as executive producers.
Basketball Wives season 12 premieres Monday, May 5 at 8/7C on VH1.
