“Tonight, something clicked. For the first time in a really long time I felt alive again,” Cameron Diaz says to Jamie Foxx in the opening of the teaser trailer for Back in Action.
Netflix released the video on Thursday, Nov. 14.

“We were operatives for the CIA,” Foxx’s character explains to his children.
“Like Jason Bourne?” The son asks.
“Yeah, but we remember stuff,” Foxx’s character jokes.

Foxx not only stars in the action film, but he’s also an executive producer with Datari Turner, Brendan O’Brien, and Tim Lewis.
The upcoming project marks two things for its main cast — it’s the first film that Diaz has done since 2014’s Annie, and the film made headlines in April 2023, when production was temporarily halted after Foxx was hospitalized in Atlanta for an undisclosed illness. The actor has since recovered.
