Andra Day will take the stage just before Super Bowl LVIII kicks off next month in Las Vegas.
The Grammy-winning singer/songwriter and actress will perform “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” the NFL announced Thursday.
Along with the announcement came news that country music superstar Reba McEntire has been tapped to sing the national anthem, “The Star-Spangled Banner.” Grammy-nominated artist Post Malone will sing “America the Beautiful.”

McEntire most recently served as a coach on The Voice. Post Malone performed at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas as part of “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.”
Day is perhaps best known in the music world for her 2016 hit “Rise Up.” She received a best actress Oscar nomination and took home a Golden Globe for her feature film acting debut in The United States vs. Billie Holiday (2021).
R&B legend Usher was previously announced as headliner of the Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show, produced by DPS with Roc Nation.
The national anthem and “Lift Every Voice and Sing” will be produced and arranged by Emmy Award-winning Musical director an producer Adam Blackstone.
The pregame entertainment and Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show will feature American Sign Language (ASL) performances.
Actor Daniel Durant, who starred in the Academy Award-winning movie CODA, will perform the national anthem in ASL on behalf of the National Association of the Deaf (NAD).
Actress, model and dancer Anjel Piñero will sign “America the Beautiful,” and actor and choreographer Shaheem Sanchez will sign “Lift Every Voice and Sing.” Sanchez will also perform the ASL rendition of the halftime show.
The Super Bowl will be played at Allegiant Stadium on Sunday, Feb. 11, 2024, and airs on CBS.
