Kimora Lee Simmons is stepping back in front of the cameras for the upcoming E! reality show, Kimora: Back in the Fab Lane.
The cable network announced details on the series this week, saying the “Queen of Fabulosity” is returning to “the Fab Lane as a single mother of five commanding a multi-million dollar empire.”
“I know you missed me,” the entrepreneur and former supermodel says in the trailer. Lee admits her life is “absolutely crazy,” but says, “I’m a great mom.”
“It’s been almost 15 years since you last saw me and my family,” she shares before letting the audience know “a lot has changed.”
“I have a lot of kids: Ming Lee, Aoki Lee, Kenzo Lee, Gary Lee, Wolfy Lee, my bonus son Jaden,” Lee says. “Kenzo and Gary wanna be independent and grown. And Wolfy is my last baby. It’s like the Brady Bunch — but with no husband.”
The trailer debuted on YouTube Nov. 4 and already has hundreds of comments from fans, saying they’re “excited” and the follow-up series is “long overdue.”
The busy mom previously starred on Kimora: Life in the Fab Lane on E!’s sister channel, Style Network. The show ran for four seasons between 2007 and 2011.
Lee was married to controversial hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons from 1998 to 2009. In 2014, she tied the knot with German-born investment banker and convicted felon, Tim Leissner. They welcomed son Wolfe Lee Leissner and divorced in 2022. Lee also shares son Kenzo Lee Hounsou with actor Djimon Hounsou.
Per E!, the new series follows the busy mom and her 5 children – Ming, 25, Aoki, 23, Kenzo, 16, Gary, 15, and Wolfe, 10.
According to the official description, Lee “commands an empire by running multiple businesses, including her iconic Baby Phat brand. Kimora’s model daughters, Ming and Aoki, are following in her footsteps with entrepreneurial ventures of their own. Between dealing with the whims of her adventure-seeking daughters, cheering at her sons’ championship games and celebrating her own major milestones, Kimora’s world is even more fabulous and outrageous than ever before.”
Kimora: Back in the Fab Lane is produced by Kevin Hart’s Hartbeat Productions.
Hart, Kimora Lee Simmons, Luke Kelly-Clyne, Meghan Hoffman, Bryan Smiley, and Danielle Medina are executive producers. Lottie Kanama and Brandon Robins co-executive produce.
The show is set to premiere on Tuesday, Dec. 2 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on E! with back-to-back episodes.
