Kravitz stars in the film opposite Robert Pattinson as Batman aka Bruce Wayne.

The cast also includes Paul Dano as Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as Jim Gordon, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Peter Sarsgaard plays Gotham D.A. Gil Colson, Andy Serkis is Alfred Pennyworth, Barry Keoghan plays officer Stanley Merkel, and Colin Farrell is The Penguin. Matt Reeves directs.

As previously reported, Kravitz landed the role as Catwoman in the Warner Bros. film after “rigorous testing.”

Catwoman is a Gotham City burglar and superhero in the DC Comics world. The role has previously been played on the big screen by Halle Berry, Anne Hathaway, and Michelle Pfeiffer. The late Eartha Kitt played Catwoman on the Batman TV series in the 1960s.

Last year Warner Bros. released the first trailer for The Batman, but there was only a quick glimpse of Kravitz in a catsuit.

The film’s release has been delayed a couple of times because of the COVID-19 pandemic… but don’t despair. The Batman is now slated to arrive in theaters on Mar 4, 2022.
