It looks like YG will make it to the Grammy Awards after all.

The rapper, real name Keenon Jackson, has been released on bail from the Men’s Central Jail in downtown Los Angeles, where he was being held on $250,000 bond in connection with a robbery case.

As previously reported, YG was booked on suspicion of robbery early Friday morning after sheriff’s deputies arrived at his home in the Chatsworth neighborhood of L.A. with a search warrant as part of an “ongoing criminal investigation.”

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s online inmate information center, he posted bail and was released Friday night at 9:07 p.m.

YG is scheduled to take the stage at the Grammy Awards today, as part of a tribute to the late Nipsey Hussle, who was featured on YG’s hit 2016 single “F–k Donald Trump.”

Kirk Franklin, DJ Khaled, John Legend, Meek Mill, and Roddy Ricch have also been booked to perform in the tribute, which the Grammys announced earlier this week.

But after his arrest, it was unclear if YG would be released from jail in time for the awards ceremony at the Staples Center in L.A.

The 62nd Annual Grammy Awards will be broadcast live on CBS, on Sunday, Jan. 26, 2020, at 8:00 p.m. ET/5:00 p.m. PT. The show will also stream live on the CBS All Access service. The site is currently offering a free seven-day trial subscription.
