DJ Boof, the former in-house DJ at The Wendy Williams Show, has responded to fans expressing concerns about the talk show host’s health.
Loyal viewers flooded social media on Friday to say they were worried about Williams after she took multiple pauses, stuttered and mispronounced words during the “Hot Topics” segment.
A clip posted on the show’s YouTube channel showed Williams appearing to struggle, and calling on production staffers to chime in with comments and to “model” as music played to help fill the time.

One fan wrote on Instagram, “Wendy, you need to stop your show and seriously get some help. Your camp is just watching you spiral, instead of getting you help. Shame on them. I’ll be boycotting your show until you get checked into REHAB. Drugs will kill you. Please get help.”
Another fan responded: “She don’t listen to them. Probably why DJ Boof left the show.”
DJ Boof, who was suddenly replaced after last season, cryptically replied to the post and suggested something is very wrong behind the scenes.
“Exactly and it will all come out…Y’all have no idea what’s really going on and everyone there is afraid to speak up because they don’t wanna lose their jobs…this is going to play out bad. I feel sorry for the workers and the victims. Have a blessed day,” he wrote.
Last season, DJ Boof made regular appearances on the daytime talk show. So, loyal viewers were surprised to see he had been replaced. Instead, DJ Suss One is now behind the turntables.
In 2019, Williams tearfully revealed on air that she was dealing with personal issues and living in a sober house. Last year, The Wendy Williams Show was renewed through 2022.
