Wendy Williams has addressed reports that her health is in decline by uploading a video of herself on her newly-created Instagram account.
In the video posted Wednesday, the Wendy Williams Show host is shown walking on a beach in Florida while wearing a black hoodie and black baseball cap.
Her son filmed the video and asked her, “Hey mom, how you doing?”
After saying she was fine, the television personality added, “I’m doing okay, you know? Beautiful sky, it’s nice being here.”

The two talked about her workout plans later in the day before he asked her, “What do you have to say to those people who think you’re up to whatever it is?”
“Excuse me, I am going back stronger. At 56 years old, there are things that happen to people. I would say things usually start about 40, and they go up from there,” she said.
After discussing her diet and how she tries to stay healthy, Williams talked about how she plans to get back to New York.
“I want to be all I can be and then get back to New York and then get on down with The Wendy Williams Show,” she said with a smile.
The video comes after Williams began a legal battle with Wells Fargo after the bank allegedly froze her accounts.
“For more than two weeks, Wells Fargo has repeatedly denied my requests to access my financial assets, which total over several million dollars. I have submitted multiple written requests to Wells Fargo and I have visited various Wells Fargo branches in the South Florida area in an effort to resolve this matter outside of the courtroom,” Williams stated in an affidavit filed with the New York Supreme Court, Variety reported.
Due to her accounts being froz3n, Williams said she has “defaulted and I am at risk of defaulting on several billing and financial obligations, including, but not limited to, mortgage payments and employee payroll.”
Williams’ attorney denied the television host has any mental health issues in a statement to Variety on Monday.
“On behalf of Wendy Hunter, professionally known as Wendy Williams, as counsel to her and her affairs, Wendy wants the world to know that she strenuously denies all allegations about her mental health and well-being,” her attorney LaShawn Thomas said in a statement provided by publicist Shawn Zanotti.
As previously reported, a revolving door of guest hosts, including Sherri Shepherd have filled in for Williams since the Oct. 18 premiere date for the current season of The Wendy Williams Show. The premiere date was pushed back several times due to Williams contracting COVID-19 and she has been out from her namesake show this season due to her ongoing health issues.
There has been no official word on when Williams plans to return on the show.
