According to published reports, Williams is concerned about leaks to the press while she’s out on medical leave.

An insider recently told The Sun Williams has “disappeared” and staffers fear she will “never return to her show.” Another person later told the tabloid Williams is getting paranoid about who she can trust.

“Wendy believes the staff have all betrayed her and if she comes back, she wants to completely clean house. She actually wants to fire the whole staff,” the insider said.

Rumors have been floating for weeks that the television personality is too sick to return to full-time work. However, her publicist is denying those reports.

“The health issues are inaccurate and any speculation about her not returning to the show is just that: speculation,” the publicist told The Blast.

As previously reported, the premiere date for season 13 of The Wendy Williams Show was pushed back several times due to Williams contracting a breakthrough case of COVID-19, and complications from her previous diagnosis of Graves’ Disease.

The season finally debuted on Oct. 18. but Williams has not appeared on a single episode this season. No date has been publicly announced on when the daytime diva will return.
