Wendy Williams has responded to fans who fear something is wrong with the talk show host.

On Friday, Williams sparked concerns during the “Hot Topics” segment of The Wendy Williams Show, when she took multiple pauses, stuttered and mispronounced words.

The daytime host addressed fan concerns on Monday’s episode, by saying she’s far from perfect.

“I always say I love you for watching because I really, really do,” she said. “I come here every day and I try to do the best that I can for you. I appreciate you watching, but even after all of these years, it’s still work and effort put in for the hour that I’m out here with you, you know? I guess every day is not perfect, but I’m not a perfectionist. I’m not perfect.”

Williams added that it is difficult to host a talk show.

“I love entertaining you, you know, and it’s not easy. It’s not easy. You’re a tough crowd,” she said.

The TV host’s former in-house disc jockey, DJ Boof, added to the speculation over the weekend when he responded to fans on Instagram who said Williams needs to “get help” and she doesn’t listen to her staff.

“Yup exactly and it will all come out…” Boof said. “Y’all have no idea what’s really going on and everyone there is afraid to speak up because they don’t wanna lose their jobs.. this is going to play out bad.. I feel sorry for the workers and victims.”

Williams has discussed her health issues in the past. In May,  she took a break from filming the show due to her struggles with Grave’s Disease. She announced her diagnosis in 2018 after fainting on-air. She also previously said she was living in a sober house.
