Watch Yolanda Adams Perform ‘America the Beautiful’ at Super Bowl

Yolanda Adams opened Super Bowl LIV with a soul-stirring performance of “America the Beautiful.”

Dressed in a black-and-white pants suit, the Grammy-winning gospel singer showed off her vocal prowess and wowed the audience at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.

Standing on a large white football, Adams belted out the song with precision and was backed by the Children’s Choir of Miami.

Adams’ performance is available for download as part of the NFL’s Super Bowl LIV Live visual album.

Following Adams, Demi Lovato performed the national anthem.

Later in the evening, Jennifer Lopez and Shakira took center stage for this year’s high-octane halftime show.

Shakira danced, played the guitar, surfed through the crowd and shook her hips while singing her global hit “Hips Don’t Lie.” The only thing missing was Wyclef Jean — who wrote and produced the track, which was originally called “Dance Like This” for the Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights soundtrack. Shakira also belted out the Cardi B. hit “I Like It” with Latin rapper Bad Bunny.

Lopez then arrived on a stripper pole, shimmied and sang a medley of her hit songs, including “Jenny From the Block.”
