VH1 is rebooting The Surreal Life with an all-new cast of celebrities, including Tamar Braxton, Dennis Rodman and August Alsina.
The concept for the original version of the reality series was a group of celebs living together for two weeks in a Hollywood mansion.

In addition to Braxton, Rodman and Alsina, The Wrap reports the revival will feature professional wrestler CJ Perry, actors Frankie Muniz and Kim Coles, YouTuber Manny MUA and adult film star Stormy Daniels.
“The Surreal Life is known for bringing together some of the biggest names in pop culture and creating many unforgettable moments in reality television,” Nina L. Diaz, president of content and chief creative officer of MTV Entertainment Group, said in a statement to the news outlet. “We are excited to see how this stellar celebrity cast will make captivating television for audiences everywhere.”
The Surreal Life premiered on the WB in 2003 and ran for two seasons before it moved to VH1 for four more seasons.

The reality series was popular enough that it had two spinoff series including My Fair Brady and Flavor of Love.
51 Minds Entertainment will produce the new season, with Christian Sarabia, Fernando Mills, Ken Martinez and Nicole Elliott serving as executive producers. For MTV Entertainment Group, Elena Diaz, Tolani Holmes and Dan Caster will executive produce. Donny Herran and Angela Liao serve as executives in charge for MTV Entertainment Group and Kat Uyenco, Jen McGrogan and Jordan Browne are co-executive producers for 51 Minds.
No premiere date has been announced for the VH1 reality show.
