Bail was set at $50,000, authorities said. Police did not release additional details.
TMZ reported Tyga allegedly “got physical” with his ex-girlfriend Camaryn Swanson. A source close to the rapper told the website Swanson showed up at Tyga’s house at 3 a.m. on Monday “screaming” and appearing intoxicated.
Swanson posted photos of her injuries from the alleged altercation on her Instagram Stories, along with text messages she claims show Tyga sent a car to pick her up and she did not just show up at his home.
The photos were reposted by hip-hop news account @nineteenth. Swanson wrote in the caption: “I’m so embarrassed and ashamed it had to get to this but I have to stand up for myself.”
The 22-year-old social media influencer also alleged “when I tried to leave, he physically assaulted and refused to let me leave for hours.”
Swanson added that she’s been “emotionally, mentally and physically abused and I’m not hiding it anymore.”
Tyga and Camaryn reportedly started dating earlier this year.
