TV One Sets Premiere Date for True Crime Thriller ‘Blood on Her Badge’

TV One will air suspense drama Blood on Her Badge on Monday, Nov. 16.

Inspired by true crime events, the film details the ill-fated journey of a cop who hooks up with a criminal, and stars Rayven Symone Ferrell (The Hate You Give, The Bobby Brown Story) and Tequan Richmond (Boomerang, Everybody Hates Chris).

Additional cast members include Miguel Núñez (The Family Business, Bronx SUI), Tetona Jackson (Boomerang, All Night), and Johnell Young (Wu-Tang: An American Saga).

Here’s the official synopsis: “Blood on Her Badge tells a true crime tale of Dee Johnson (Ferrell), a charming and eager young cop. As Dee settles into her new career, she falls for Trey (Richmond) a captivating younger man. As life begins to fall into place, Dee begins to make risky decisions that ultimately alter her objectivity. With no real moral grounding, Dee allows herself to be manipulated by her lover, resulting in tragic repercussions.”

The film was written by Scott Mullen, directed by Kenn Michael, and produced by The Asylum with David Rimawi serving as executive producer. Co-producer are Paul Bales and David Michael Latt.

Blood on Her Badge airs Monday, Nov. 16, at 8 P.M. ET/7C on TV One.
