TNT has announced the premiere date for season 4 of Claws. Along with the announcement, the cable network unveiled a new trailer for the series during its presentation at the Television Critics Association’s virtual press tour.
The video features the cast hatching a plan to take their criminal empire to the next level, even if that means going to war with “the fat man.”
Claws stars Niecy Nash as Desna Simms, who owns a Florida nail salon. Simms and her close-knit staff begin laundering money for mobsters and eventually build their own criminal empire.

Alongside Nash is Carrie Preston (True Blood, The Good Wife) as con artist Polly Marks; Judy Reyes (Scrubs, Devious Maids) as Desna’s enforcer Annalise “Quiet Ann” Zayas; Karrueche Tran (The Bay) as former exotic dancer Virginia Loc; and Jenn Lyon (Saint George, Justified) as Jennifer Husser, Desna’s right hand woman. Kevin Rankin, Jason Antoon, Harold Perrineau, and Dean Norris also have roles.
Executive producers on the show include Janine Sherman Barrois, Rashida Jones, Will McCormack, series creator Eliot Laurence and showrunners Sharon Lee Watson and Emily Silver. The series is produced for TNT by Jones and McCormack’s Le Train Train in association with Warner Bros. Television.
As previously reported, TNT announced in October 2019 that the show’s fourth season would be the last. Claws debuted back in 2017. The third season ranked as one of the top 10 cable dramas in 2019, according to Nielsen.
The fourth and final season of Claws premieres on Sunday, Dec. 26 at 9:00pm ET on TNT.
An early sneak peek of the premiere will air on Dec. 17 during an episode of the talk show Friday Night Vibes hosted by Tiffany Haddish and Deon Cole.
Haddish and Cole are longtime fans of the show, and during that episode the two will share their favorite moments from the first three seasons.
