The new season of The View launches in September with one major change.
The entire cast is coming back, but this time they’ll be filming in a different location.
In a promo video released Wednesday, Aug. 28, Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sara Haines, Sunny Hostin, Ana Navarro, and Alyssa Farah Griffin all confirmed they would be returning to their panel seats on season 28 of the daytime talk show.
Each co-host entered into frame individually, while holding a moving box.
When it was Hostin’s turn, she said, “We’re moving downtown to the hottest new studio to match our hot topics.”

Behar quipped, “I’m not carrying these boxes, let Alyssa do it,” as she puts her box on the table and laughs.
Griffin, who was the Trump administration’s White House Director of Strategic Communications and assistant to the president, carried a box and said, “Sure, I’m used to heavy lifting — I’m a Republican on The View.”
She joined the ABC show in 2021 as a guest and then became a permanent co-host in 2022.
“I think it’s important to have all voices at our table that the audience can see themselves in, or see a perspective of, or understand perspective they don’t have,” executive producer Brian Teta said in an April Deadline article, while discussing Griffin’s opposing political views compared to the majority liberal panel of co-hosts.
“She was in the room at a lot of key points that we’ve been talking about. So I think while she’s not a Trump supporter, she has an understanding of the appeal of Trump,” he continued.
Teta became executive producer of the talk show during the 19th season after working on The Late Show with David Letterman.
During his tenure, Teta has helped the show gain viewers and stay at the top of daytime talk shows and news programs in viewership and households, the Deadline article stated.
Season 28 of The View debuts Tuesday, Sept. 3 at 11 a.m. ET and 10 a.m. PT.
