Tyler Perry’s The Oval is bringing in three new series regulars for season 3 of the BET drama.
Nick Barrotta, Kaye Singleton, and Russell Thomas will all join the show’s main cast, including Ed Quinn, Kron Moore, Javon Johnson, Ptosha Storey, and Vaughn Hebron among others, the network said in a press release Tuesday.

Barrotta has been promoted to series regular after being in a recurring role since the first season as Allan, assistant to the president’s chief of staff, Donald Winthrop (Lodric D. Collins).
Singleton will become a series regular as Simone. The character is described as the beautiful and “in the know” wife of Vice President Eli.
Thomas plays Eli, the smart and cunning vice president who is working on a scheme to overthrow President Hunter Franklin (Quinn).
The Oval premiered in 2019, and centers on what can happen when the leader of the free world, his wife and family are involved in outrageous antics.
Tyler Perry executive produces, directs, and writes the series. Michelle Sneed serves as executive producer for Tyler Perry Studios.
Season two of the drama returns with new episodes on Tuesday, July 20 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on BET and BET Her.
