Production is well underway on The Best Man: The Final Chapters, and co-creator Malcolm D. Lee has unveiled a first look at the cast in action.
Lee posted updates on Instagram several times over the past few weeks and shared photos of the cast and crew from the set.
In the image above, he’s shown alongside original cast members Harold Perrineau (Julian), Terrence Howard (Quentin) and Morris Chestnut (Lance). Lee captioned the post: “The fellas minus 1. Quentin’s getting married. #thebestmanfinalchapters.”

As previously reported, the upcoming Peacock limited series is based on the iconic Best Man film franchise.
The spinoff series is set to catch up with the cast as relationships evolve and past grievances resurface as midlife crisis meets midlife renaissance, Peacock announced earlier this month.
Malcolm D. Lee is co-creator of the series with Dayna Lynne North.
Lee, who wrote and directed the two films, will helm four episodes of the series. The other episodes will be directed by Charles Stone III, Robert Townsend and Stacey Muhammad.
