Tekashi 6ix9ine is behind bars once again after he was arrested for allegedly violating the terms of his supervised release.

The troubled rapper was taken into custody on Tuesday, Oct. 29, after the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York issued a warrant for his arrest, according to court records obtained by NBC News.

Tekashi’s attorney, Lance Lazzaro, told the outlet his client was charged with three technical violations, but he’s “confident that each specification will be dismissed.”

Tekashi, born Daniel Hernandez, was detained after he traveled to Las Vegas to perform without permission, according to published reports.

The New York native was quickly arraigned and pleaded not guilty.

Hernandez, 28, is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, the same jail where Sean “Diddy” Combs is confined following his arrest on federal sex trafficking and racketeering charges.

The “Gummo” rapper will remain behind bars at least until a Nov. 12 hearing.

In 2019, he pleaded guilty to multiple criminal counts stemming from his November 2018 arrest for racketeering, weapons possession, armed robbery and dealing narcotics, as previously reported.

He had faced 47 years to life in prison, but got a reduced sentence after cooperating with the U.S. Attorney’s Office in a case against two of his fellow Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods gang associates.

During a court appearance in 2019, the rapper’s sentence was reduced to two years in prison and five years of supervised release. He had already served 13 months while awaiting sentencing.

In an apology letter to the court prior his sentencing, Hernandez expressed remorse for his crimes.

“I’m sorry to the victims who were affected by my actions, to my fans who look up to me and were misled, to my family who depends on me and to this courtroom for this mess that I contributed to,” he said.
