Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson doesn’t mince words, especially regarding disputes over money.
The executive of Starz’s Power franchise was a guest on the Oct. 29 episode of “The Breakfast Club,” and confirmed he has issues with Power actor Omari Hardwick.
“I think he overvalues himself to be honest with you because it’s been a long time since he hasn’t been in Power. Why are we not excited about the new project,” asked the hip-hop mogul.
“The Breakfast Club” co-host Charlamagne Tha God questioned, “What new projects? I didn’t know.”
“See that’s what I’m talking about. If there was noise going on and he was that big of a draw, then we would see the noise and the new things happening. We see you out where you’re actively in a place where people are looking for you,” 50 Cent added.

After he was asked if he’s still “cool” with Hardwick, the “In da Club” rapper said, “No, because, you leave it like it’s me not giving you the money.”
The comments that 50 Cent referenced are what Hardwick said in 2022 while he was a guest on The Pivot podcast, where the actor said he was underpaid while working on Power.
“I still haven’t made what I should have made. I still never made the money—no, the money, I never made what I should have made. Never,” Hardwick said. “Period. It’s happening now, finally.”
Hardwick starred on Power from 2014 to 2020. Since he left the series, he has starred in Zack Synder’s Army of the Dead.
Below is 50 Cent’s interview. He discusses Hardwick at the 41:00 mark.
