Super Bowl Halftime Show Wins Multiple Emmy Awards

This year’s Super Bowl Halftime Show hit all the right notes with Emmy voters, and picked up three awards Saturday night at the 2022 Creative Arts Emmy Awards in Los Angeles.

The Halftime Show featuring Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar and 50 Cent won Emmys for outstanding variety special (live); outstanding production design for a variety special; and outstanding music direction.

Among other music broadcasts, Adele: One Night Only and The Beatles: Get Back won five Emmy Awards each at Saturday’s ceremony.

The awards were handed out in 45 categories on the first night of the ceremony. More winners will be announced Sunday in the lead-up to the 74th Primetime Emmy Awards on Sept. 12.
