Starz Unveils ‘Power Book II: Ghost’ Season 4 First Look – Michael Ealy, Golden Brooks Join the Cast

Starz released the first images on Thursday from the upcoming fourth and final season of Power Book II: Ghost.

The pictures offer a glimpse of new cast members Michael Ealy and Golden Brooks in character.

Ealy (The Intruder and Think Like a Man) takes on the role of “Detective Don Carter” in the hit crime drama, while Brooks (Saturdays and Girlfriends) plays recurring character, “Janet Stewart,” who is Monet’s cousin.

The images also show returning cast members Michael Rainey Jr. as “Tariq St. Patrick” and Gianni Paolo as “Brayden Weston” plotting after starting a war with Noma (played by Caroline Chikezie) on the season 3 finale.

Tejada siblings Dru (played by Lovell Adams-Gray), Cane (Woody McClain), and Diana (LaToya Tonodeo) await the fate of their mom Monet (Mary J. Blige) after Tasha attempts to take her out.

Davis McClean (Cliff “Method Man” Smith) is pictured managing the fallout from Cooper Saxe’s death.

Additional returning cast members include Alix Lapri as “Effie Morales,” Larenz Tate as “Rashad Tate,” and LightSkinKeisha as “Brushaundria Carmichael.”

Recurring cast members this season are:

Talia Robinson as “Elle,” the lead singer of a popular hip hop group at Stansfield.

Sydney Winbush plays “Anya Covington,” Noma’s daughter who is unaware of her mother’s profession.

Aaron Dean Eisenberg plays “Detective Nico Calder” and Allison Luff is “Detective Felicia Lewis,” two officers on Detective Carter’s Drug Task Force.

Stephanie Sheperd portrays “Perla Tanaka,” a law associate tasked with defending her boss, Davis McClean, against multiple charges.

Hip-hop artist Yung Bleu appears as “Stokely.”

Power Book II: Ghost premiered in September 2020, and was the first Power spinoff.

Starz promises the final season will be “explosive, with high-adrenaline twists and turns as everyone is on the hunt for revenge.”

According to the official season 4 description: “New alliances have been formed with each faction and Tariq and Brayden must find a way back into the game. But Brayden starts flirting with a new, reckless lifestyle, leaving Tariq to wonder if there really is room for two at the top. With Monet left for dead, Davis facing potential disbarment, and Effie looking to secure her future at Stanford, everyone’s on their own.”

The Power Universe series is executive produced by Courtney A. Kemp through her production company End of Episode, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson through G-Unit Film and Television, and Mark Canton through Canton Entertainment.

Lionsgate Television produces the series for Starz.

The fourth season of Power Book II: Ghost will debut in two parts.

Part one of premieres Friday, June 7, at midnight ET on the Starz app, which also coincides with the 10th anniversary of Power’s debut on the network. On TV, the premiere drops at 8:00 PM ET/PT on Starz in the U.S. and 9:00 PM ET in Canada.

Part two premieres on Friday, Sept. 6, at midnight ET on the Starz app and on Starz at 8:00 PM ET/PT in the U.S. and 9:00 PM ET in Canada on TV.
