Jim Carrey returned as former VP Joe Biden, who anxiously watched the debate from home. Carrey decided he needed to “save the soul of this nation,” and was teleported to the debate as the fly that landed on Pence’s head.
It didn’t take long for Carrey to go “full Goldblum,” and drop a few lines from the 1986 movie The Fly.

Suddenly, a second fly landed on Bennett’s head. This time it was Kenan Thompson as the late Herman Cain.
The real Cain died on July 30 from complications of COVID-19, just weeks after attending a Trump campaign rally in Oklahoma.
Carrey recognized the fly and said to Thompson, “Friend you look familiar.”
Thompson responded, “Well, I better. I’m Herman Cain. Reincarnated as a damn fly and these fools, Trump and Pence, killed me, man! They invited me to a rally with no mask, said ‘everything is fine Herman.’ I catch corona and Trump tells me, ‘everything is fine Herman.’ The White House doctors, they checked me out and they said, ‘everything is fine Herman.’ Three days later, I’m gone! If you’re watching this at home, don’t trust this white devil about that ‘rona.'”
Rudolph then grabbed a fly swatter and smacked Bennett on the head. With death imminent, Carrey vomited and Thompson asked, ‘am I dying, again?”
Carrey then did his best Jeff Goldblum impression and told the audience, “Be afraid. Be very afraid. And live from New York, it’s Saturday Night!”
