Ready to Love is coming back to OWN for its fifth season and host Tommy Miles will introduce new twists for the show’s singles.
The network announced in a press release that the reality dating series is heading to the D.C. metro area once again to help men and women in their 30s and 40s find true love.
“Potomac! Tommy Miles here and I’m back at it getting ready to help some more singles make meaningful connections,” Miles says in the season’s trailer.

As the first curveball, he announces that the 14 singles will be set up on surprise blind dates with other singles in addition to the ones on the show to test just how strong their budding connections are.
“This group is still coming with the baddies,” one of the contestants says after the twist is unveiled.
This season the contestants include Ace, 37, DaKiya, 39, Joi, 41, Precious, 34, Kina, 39, Sabrina, 36, Tiffani, 37, Clifton, 44, Demetrius, 42, Fernando, 34, Laverne, 44, Paul, 48, Tory, 39, and Wiley, 32.
Each week, the power shifts between the men and women as they decide who isn’t ready to love. By the end, the strongest couples will remain to decide if they are ready for relationships.
The show is executive produced by Will Packer, Will Packer Media and Lighthearted Entertainment.
