Ready to Love is coming back for a eighth season and this time Dallas singles are looking for love.
OWN announced Thursday the reality dating series is heading to Texas to help 18 men and women in their 30s and 40s find relationships (or launch TV careers).
The new teaser trailer kicks off with one woman saying she is “pleasantly surprised” by the group of men. But another woman warns she’s seeing “red flags.”
This season host Tommy Miles encourages everyone to be open with their dates and reveal their authentic selves to better connect. He also issues dating challenges that will allow potential partners to get to know one another better. The challenges might include inviting an ex to meet a new potential love, or taking a date home to meet family and friends. But no matter the challenge, there will be drama.

The series was Friday night’s #1 original cable show among African-American women ages 18+ in 2022.
The show is executive produced by Will Packer and Richard Brown of Will Packer Media, and Jeff Spangler and Rob LaPlante of Lighthearted Entertainment. Anthony Sylvester and Angela Fitts executive produce for Lighthearted Entertainment.
