Rapper Kodak Black has had another encounter with law enforcement.

The 24-year-old performer was arrested early Saturday morning in Broward County, Florida, on a trespassing charge, authorities told the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.

Deputies with the Broward Sheriff’s Office said they “made contact” with the hip-hop star, real name Bill Kapri, in Pompano Beach around 1:30 a.m. ET. Authorities did not provide additional details on the circumstances that led to his arrest. He bonded out about three hours later and was released, according to NBC News.

The rapper is originally from Pompano Beach. He was born Octave Dieuson and later changed his name to Bill Kapri.

He’s been arrested multiple times and was pardoned by former President Donald Trump in January 2021, as previously reported.

He was serving time on a 46-month sentence after admitting to falsifying information on federal forms to buy firearms. He and Lil Wayne were among 143 people granted clemency in the hours before Trump departed the White House.

Prior to that case, Kodak Black was arrested in April 2019 on separate gun and drug charges near Niagara Falls, New York, while trying to enter the U.S. from Canada. He faced allegations of criminal possession of a weapon second degree and unlawful possession of marijuana.
