50 Cent, Lil Durk, Jeremih Team Up for ‘Power Book IV: Force’ Theme Song (Video)

Power Book IV: Force is coming to Starz in February, and executive producer 50 Cent has unveiled the new theme song and music video ahead of the premiere.

The hip-hop mogul teased the music video launch for “Power, Powder, Respect” on his Instagram page Friday with the caption: “It’s lit. Tune in to Ghost and catch the premier of the Force theme song video.”

The music video debuted on YouTube Jan. 16 and features scenes from Force mixed with shots of Chicago performers Lil Durk and Jeremih as well as 50 Cent rapping both in a lounge and outside in an alley.

Force main character Tommy Egan, played by Joseph Sikora, also makes a cameo in the music video. 

The lyrics describe Tommy’s personality in the series as 50 Cent raps: “Come back when them cameras out, run your block, we kick that / Come back when your funeral in progress and hit that.”

The fourth series in the Power franchise revolves around Tommy taking on a new city — the Windy City — and the drug game in the Midwest. 

50 Cent once again teams up with Courtney A. Kemp as executive producers on the new drama.

The expanding Power Universe includes the spinoff, Power Book II: Ghost which is currently airing on the network. The third series and prequel to the Power franchise, Power Book III: Raising Kanan, wrapped up its first season in September. 

Power Book IV: Force premieres Sunday, Feb. 6, at 9 p.m. ET on STARZ.
