‘Power Book II: Ghost’ Season 3 Trailer Reveals New Threats and Betrayals (Video)

Starz has released the explosive trailer for season 3 of Power Book II: Ghost.

The season unfolds as Tariq, Brayden, and the Tejada family grieve the death of Zeke, but they won’t have much time as new problems arise.

Per Starz, the new season is “flashier, juicer, and sexier, with even more family drama, betrayals, and surprising new alliances. Monet finds herself at a crossroads with her family, Brayden is forced to choose between his birth family and chosen family, and Tariq is leveling up this season.”

The trailer shows Tariq (Michael Rainey Jr.) planning to up the game by taking his product to Wall Street, but he’s warned if he doesn’t deliver “there are consequences.”

Meanwhile, a concerned Monet (Mary J. Blige) says, “I wish things were different, but sh-t just got real.”

The season 3 cast also includes Cliff “Method Man” Smith as “Davis MacLean,” Gianni Paolo as “Brayden Weston,” Alix Lapri as “Effie Morales,” Woody McClain as “Cane Tejada,” Lovell Adams-Gray as Dru Tejada,” LaToya Tonodeo as “Diana Tejada,” Berto Colon as “Lorenzo Tejada,” Keesha Sharp as “Professor Harper Bennet,” Larenz Tate as “Rashad Tate,” and Lauren Velez as “Evelyn Castillo.”

Power Book II: Ghost is the first spinoff in the expanded Power Universe franchise, and Starz recently renewed the series for a fourth season, with Michael Ealy joining the season 4 cast.

Brett Mahoney serves as showrunner and executive producer for season 3. The series is executive produced by the creator and showrunner of the original Power, Courtney A. Kemp, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, and Mark Canton. Lionsgate Television produces the series for Starz.

Power Book II: Ghost returns Friday, March 17 at midnight ET on the Starz app, and all Starz streaming and on-demand platforms and internationally on the Lionsgate+ premium streaming platform across the UK and Brazil. On TV, The series will debut on Starz at 9 PM ET/PT in the U.S. and Canada.
