OWN, the Oprah Winfrey Network will launch Fear Not with Iyanla Vanzant and Girlfriends Check In as part of its “Sisterhood Saturday Nights” lineup, while viewers shelter in place during the COVID-19 quarantine.
Vanzant, a popular life coach who already stars on OWN’s Iyanla: Fix My Life, will offer her guidance during the pandemic on Fear Not with Iyanla Vanzant, a virtually-produced unscripted show.
The series will feature guests, including Oprah Winfrey, gospel singer Bebe Winans, and financial educator Tiffany Aliche, also known as “The Budgetnista.”

The women will share heart-to-heart talks and offer expert advice for viewers who may be dealing with stress and anxiety. The series is produced by Bunim/Murray.
“Now more than ever before, we want to provide our audience with programming that unites and uplifts us,” OWN President Tina Perry said in a statement Wednesday.
Girlfriends Check In, which brings different groups of celebrities and their real-life friends together each week, will focus on love, support, laughter and gossip.
It’s also unscripted and will feature Shazam! star Meagan Good, her sister La’Myia Good Bellinger, Empire’s Tasha Smith and Grace Byers, The Real co-host Loni Love, comedian B. Simone, actress and former reality TV star Tami Roman along with celebrity hairstylist Robbi Rogers. The six-episode series is produced by Critical Content.
“We are excited to bring sisterhood on Saturday nights, and we are grateful to Iyanla and all of the girlfriends for sharing hope and a little bit of light during this time,” Perry said.
The shows premiere on May 16 at 9pm ET/PT and 10pm ET/PT on OWN.
