Oscar Nominations 2025: Full List of Nominees From ‘Emilia Pérez’ to ‘Sing Sing’

Oscar Nominations 2025 include Colman Domingo, Cynthia Erivo and Zoe Saldaña.

The Oscar nominations were announced Thursday morning, after multiple delays because of the wildfires burning in Los Angeles.

Emilia Pérez, a musical crime saga about a Mexican drug lord who undergoes gender affirming surgery, led the list of nominees with 13 nods including best picture. It was followed by the movie musical Wicked with 10 nominations.

Colman Domingo picked up a nomination in the best actor category for his performance in the prison reform drama Sing Sing. Cynthia Erivo was nominated in the best actress category for her role in Wicked.

Ariana Grande picked up a supporting actress nod for her performance in Wicked and will compete against Zoe Saldaña in the category for her role in Emilia Pérez.

Instead of the usual live, in-person announcement, the nominations were revealed virtually with actors Bowen Yang and Rachel Sennott reading the nominations at the Film Academy’s Samuel Goldwyn Theater.

The 97th Oscars are scheduled to take place on Sunday, March 2 at the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood in Los Angeles and will be televised live at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT on ABC, streamed live on Hulu and air live in more than 200 territories worldwide.
