Former first lady Michelle Obama has been added to the list of speakers at the 2024 Democratic National Convention.

Obama, who is one of the most popular members of the Democratic Party, is expected to address the convention in her hometown of Chicago on Tuesday night, USA Today reported Sunday.

She joins the growing line-up at the DNC, which includes presidents, first ladies, and Hollywood stars.

Scandal actors Kerry Washington and Tony Goldwyn; The Mindy Project actress Mindy Kaling; and The View co-host Ana Navarro have each been tapped to host one night of the convention, which runs from Aug. 19 to Aug. 22. All four are longtime Democratic Party supporters.

Sources told CNN Goldwyn will speak on Monday night. Navarro follows on Tuesday night. Kaling hosts the events on Wednesday night, and Washington is hosting the final night of the convention when Vice President Kamala Harris officially accepts the party’s presidential nomination.

Actors Tim Daly, Uzo Aduba, Anthony Anderson, Iain Armitage, Yvette Nicole Brown, David Cross, Jon Cryer, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Danai Gurira, Richard Kind, Busy Philipps, and Sheryl Lee Ralph are also expected to attend the convention, according to published reports.

Among the political insiders set to take the stage, President Joe Biden is scheduled to headline the opening night of the convention on Aug. 19, after ending his reelection bid.

Former first lady and secretary of state Hillary Clinton is also slated to speak, as is former President Bill Clinton.

Former President Barack Obama is set to deliver a separate speech from his wife on Tuesday.

Harris will wrap up the convention on Thursday night as she accepts the party’s nomination.

The convention takes place at the United Center in Chicago. Keynote speeches and programming begin at 6:30 p.m. ET (5:30 p.m. CT) on Monday. From Tuesday through Thursday, evening programming begins at 7 p.m. ET (6 p.m. CT).

C-SPAN will broadcast the full convention without interruption. The cable news networks will also provide extensive coverage.
