Meagan Good and La’Myia Good to Star in Lifetime Movie ‘Death Saved My Life’

Meagan Good and her sister La’Myia Good have signed on for roles in the upcoming Lifetime thriller, Death Saved My Life.

“Real-life sisters Meagan and La’Myia Good portray siblings in the film, which is inspired by true events and tells the story of a woman who faked her own death in order to trap her husband after he hires a hitman to kill her,” Lifetime said in the official description.

Chiké Okonkwo (Being Mary Jane) also stars in Death Saved My Life, which is produced by Jarrett Creative. Executive producers are Julie Insogna Jarrett, Seth Jarrett and Meagan Good. Seth Jarrett also directs from a script written by Barbara Kymlicka.

In the trailer for the film, Okonkwo’s character Ed is shown striking his wife and demanding she quit her job. Set to premiere in early 2021, the film is part of Lifetime’s “Ripped from the Headlines” slate.

It joins previously announced new movies, including Girl in the Basement which marks Elisabeth Rohm’s directorial debut and stars Stefanie Scott, Judd Nelson, Joley Fisher; and The Long Island Serial Killer: A Mother’s Hunt for Justice with Kim Delaney and executive producer Deborah Norville.
