That’s a wrap for Bad Boys 4.
The action sequel starring Will Smith and Martin Lawrence just concluded filming and is one step closer to arriving in theaters.
Lawrence and Smith both posted an image from the set to Instagram on Monday, March 4.
The photo shows the two stars doing a fist bump while standing in front of a Ferris wheel.
“WRAPPED! Nothin’ but Magic every time I’m with my guy. See y’all June 7 for @BADBOYS 4!!” they captioned the image snapped by celebrity photographer Alan Silfen.

Smith also shared several photos of musician Jon Batiste visiting the set on the last day of filming.
The first Bad Boys movie was released in 1995, and centered on Miami-Dade detectives Mike Lowrey (Smith) and Marcus Burnett (Lawrence). Bad Boys II arrived in theaters in 2003. Part 3 of the saga titled Bad Boys for Life followed in 2020.
In a Jan. 2020 interview on The Tonight Show, Smith said the third film took so long because the production team wanted to make sure they got it right.
“I didn’t want to make it as a cash grab… I had fumbled a couple of my last sequels. I wasn’t happy with the Men in Black sequel and I just really wanted to make sure that this was a standalone film that people would have a real, brand new experience with,” Smith explained.
To date, the franchise has made over $838 million worldwide, according to The-Numbers.com.
The fourth installment of the Bad Boys franchise reunites Smith and Lawrence once again. The cast also includes Vanessa Hudgens, Alexander Ludwig, Paola Núñez, Eric Dane, Tasha Smith, Melanie Liburd, and John Salley.
Last month, Local 10 News Miami posted video online of the cast and crew filming action sequences on the beach in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Smith and Lawrence are producers on the new film, which comes from directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, who also helmed Bad Boys for Life.
Sony Pictures recently moved the release date up for Bad Boys 4 — scheduling the film to hit theaters on June 7, 2024, a week earlier than previously announced.
An official title is expected to be unveiled ahead of the film’s summer release.
