Martin Lawrence Announces Star-Studded Comedy Tour Ahead of ‘Bad Boys 4’ Release

Martin Lawrence is going on the road with some of his friends.

The comedian announced a new comedy tour Wednesday, May 8 on social media, saying a roster of fellow comics will be joining him at tour stops across the nation.

Lawrence teased the upcoming “Y’all Know What It Is” tour with a promo video and included the caption: “Guess who’s back! Ya boy Marty Mar is hittin’ the stage again for my first tour in 8 years! I’ve missed y’all and can’t wait to bring the laughs straight to your city!”

A short time later, he followed up with a post listing the tour dates and the comics joining him on the road.

The list includes Adele Givens, B. Simone, Chico Bean, DC Youngfly, Deon Cole, Desi Banks, Gary Owen, Jess Hilarious, Ms. Pat, Rickey Smiley, Benji Brown, Clayton Thomas, Daphnique Springs, Loni Love, and Brookzz.

The tour kicks off on July 20 in Chandler, Arizona and runs through 2025.

The announcement comes ahead of the release of Bad Boys: Ride or Die on June 7, 2024.

The film follows Lawrence and Will Smith returning as Miami-Dade cops Marcus Burnett and Mike Lowrey.

Along with Smith and Lawrence, the cast includes Joe Pantoliano, Vanessa Hudgens, Alexander Ludwig, Paola Nuñez, Eric Dane, Ioan Gruffudd, Jacob Scipio, Melanie Liburd, Tasha Smith, Tiffany Haddish, and John Salley.

The fourth film in the franchise is directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, who also helmed the last installment, Bad Boys for Life.

The first installment was released in 1995, and Bad Boys II arrived in 2003. The saga continued with part 3 — Bad Boys for Life in 2020.

Combined, the first three movies earned $840 million worldwide, according to The-Numbers.com. The next film is expected to do more big business.
