Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson has filed a defamation lawsuit against ex-girlfriend Daphne Joy Narvaez, claiming she “falsely” accused him of rape in response to him seeking sole custody of their 11-year-old son Sire.
The hip-hop mogul filed the complaint in Texas on Monday, May 6, saying Narvaez “retaliated” against him with the rape claim, after he taunted her for being called a “sex worker” in a lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs, then moved to seek custody of their son.
In court documents obtained by People magazine, 50 Cent said the rape allegation Narvaez posted to social media in March led to “extensive public ridicule, hatred and contempt.”
The rapper’s complaint added that Narvaez made “multiple defamatory statements” on Instagram, which “falsely and publicly accuse Jackson of rape and physical abuse during their prior relationship, in a purposeful attempt to… destroy his personal and business reputation, harm Jackson’s commercial and business interests, negatively affect his custody case, and prevent him from seeing his minor son.”

Jackson’s attorney Reena Jain said in a statement that “despite being given ample opportunity to retract a false and malicious retaliatory accusation, Ms. Narvaez has shamefully chosen to interfere with her 11-year-old son’s relationship with his loving father by falsely calling him a ‘rapist.'”
Reps for Narvaez did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
The fitness influencer, Instagram model and actress, posted a lengthy statement to Instagram on March 28, alleging 50 Cent sexually abused her.
“Let’s put the real focus on your true evil actions of raping me and physically abusing me. You are no longer my oppressor and my God will handle you from this point on,” Narvaez wrote.
She also accused the mogul of being an absentee dad to their son.
“We moved to New York to give you the opportunity to be a father to your son and you saw him 10 times out of the two years that we lived one mile away from you,” she stated.
Narvaez’s post came after 50 Cent mocked her on social media because music producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones described her as a prostitute in an amendment to his bombshell lawsuit against Diddy.
“Defendant Sean Combs bragged about having several women on a monthly stipend,” the complaint said and named Daphne Joy Cervantes Narvaez, aka, Daphne Joy as one of the women Diddy allegedly wired money to for sex.
50 Cent taunted Narvaez by posting a picture on Instagram of her walking arm-in-arm with Diddy and called her “a little sex worker.”
Narvaez has denied the sex worker claim and said she was in a relationship with Diddy.
In 2013, 50 Cent was charged with assaulting and injuring the model at a condo in the Toluca Lake neighborhood of Los Angeles. The Los Angeles Times reported on the case, but did not release her name. According to the Times, the alleged victim told authorities she locked herself in her bedroom, but Jackson busted through the door and allegedly kicked her. He was charged with five criminal counts, including domestic violence and vandalism.
CNN identified the woman as Daphne Joy Narvaez, who was born in the Philippines, and had a baby by the rapper.
50 Cent struck a deal and pleaded no contest to a lesser charge of misdemeanor vandalism. He was sentenced to three years of probation and 30 days of community service.
