Rapper and actor Chris “Ludacris” Bridges will soon have his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The Atlanta performer will be honored this week with the 2,756th star on the Los Angeles landmark.
“Ludacris has been a pop culture staple for many years,” Walk of Fame producer Ana Martinez said in a statement. “As both a rapper and actor, he has created some of our favorite music and film moments and we’re thrilled to welcome him to our historic landmark.”
Over the years, Ludacris has sold more than 24 million albums thanks to his hit singles including “Stand Up,” “Area Codes,” “Get Back,” “Southern Hospitality,” and “My Chick Bad.”

Among his movie roles are parts in The Fast and the Furious franchise, New Year’s Eve, No Strings Attached, the Oscar-winning Crash, and Hustle & Flow, which earned him a SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.
The former DJ is dad to four girls. His star will be located at 6426 Hollywood Boulevard near the iconic Amoeba records store.
The star ceremony takes place the day before his new movie Fast X drives into theaters. Ludacris will be joined by his co-star Vin Diesel and fellow rapper LL Cool J at the ceremony on Thursday, May 18, at 11:30 a.m. PT.
The celebration will stream live on YouTube and at walkoffame.com.
