‘Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta’ Adds Erica Banks, Jessica White, Amy Luciani to Cast

Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta returns June 13 on a new network, with new faces.

The reality series is moving from VH1 to MTV, and adding rapper Erica Banks, actress and model Jessica White, and rising hip-hop performer Amy Luciani to the cast for season 11, MTV said in a news release on Tuesday.

The ladies join returning stars Spice, Erica Mena, Bambi, Rasheeda and Yandy.

“The new cast members cause changes in allegiances and longtime friendships to be tested,” MTV teased in the casting announcement.

Additional cast members on the season include Sierra Gates and Eric Whitehead; Scrappy; Momma Dee; Kirk Frost; Mendeecees; Safaree; Karlie Redd; Erica Dixon; Renni Rucci; Yung Joc and Kendra Robinson; and Shekinah Jo and Khaotic.

According to the official description for the upcoming season, “queen of dancehall” Spice fights for her life after a near fatal surgery following her recent Grammy nomination; Erica Mena leaves behind her heartbreak and divorce with Safaree as she ignites her movie career; Bambi officially files for divorce from Scrappy as she pursues her rap career; Rasheeda is revamping Frost Bistro into a new brunch venue; and Yandy struggles to balance success in her household as her businesses grow.

The new iteration of LHHATL is part of a “Tuesday Night Takeover” programming lineup on MTV, that also includes MTV Couples Retreat (formerly known as VH1 Couples Retreat); Caught in the Act: Unfaithful; and Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta “Run It Back.”

Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta is executive produced by Sitarah Pendelton and Jubba Seyyid for MTV Entertainment Studios and Lashan Browning, Donna Edge-Rachell, Paris Bauldwin, Daniel Wiener, Alissa Horowitz, Mimi Adams, Gavin Lee Jones, and John Crenny for Antoinette Media.
