Season 6 of Lifetime’s Little Women: Atlanta will premiere in January, with a special tribute to late cast member, Ashley ‘Minnie’ Ross.
In a preview trailer, the cast members are shown dealing with their grief, after Minnie was killed in a car crash in April of this year.
“Have you thought about how it’s going to be without Minnie now?” Monie asks Juicy in the video as the two tearfully embrace.

The crash was originally described as a hit-and-run in a statement made by Minnie’s team, but People magazine later reported that investigators determined Ross lost control of her vehicle and was involved in a head-on collision.
The new season of Little Women: Atlanta will also focus on the cast’s changing career goals, and explore the idea of motherhood for some of them.
In a trailer for the unscripted reality show, the cast starts out the season with Shirlene ‘Ms. Juicy’ King Pearson, the Tiny Twinz Amanda & Andrea, Abira, and the return of Monie—who are all trying to make it in their hip hop careers as they juggle relationships, health issues, and “dealing with the complexities of living in an average size world”, as described in a statement.
Little Women: Atlanta premieres Friday, Jan. 22, at 9PM ET/PT.
Each Friday, a 90-minute episode will follow. An all-new 30 minute after-show will also be released, called Little Women: Atlanta Unfiltered, with Loni Love as host.
Little Women: Atlanta is produced by Kinetic Content, which also produces the fellow Little Women series franchise and Married at First Sight for Lifetime. Jolé and Ms. Juicy serve as executive producers on the show.
