Lisa Rinna and her daughter Delilah Hamlin will share the screen in the upcoming Lifetime thriller Mommy Meanest.
Briana Skye also stars in the film.
Inspired by real events, the project tells the story of a teenage girl with a history of being cyberbullied, only to discover the person behind horrible text messages is her own mother.
Rinna posted news about the film on Instagram Thursday, writing: “I’m so excited to share this!”

Here’s the synopsis from Lifetime: “Divorced mother Madelyn (Rinna) and her daughter Mia (Briana Skye) have always had a tight bond. But when Mia starts spending more time with her new boyfriend and is on the verge of leaving for college, Madelyn is panicked by her emerging independence. When Mia starts to receive a barrage of degrading texts, as a protective mother, Madelyn is determined to find out who is harassing her daughter and will do anything to help her, bringing them closer together again.”
Delilah Hamlin plays Mia’s friend Summer, marking the first time Rinna and Hamlin have been in a movie together.
Lisa Rinna is best known to fans for her role on Days of Our Lives and as a cast member on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She serves as an executive producer on the Lifetime film alongside Stacy Mandelberg.
Hamlin previously appeared on RHOBH with her mom and had a small role in the 2023 Lifetime movie How She Caught a Killer.
Briana Skye had parts in the TV series Van Helsing, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow and Batwoman.
Mommy Meanest is produced for Lifetime by Stalking Productions in association with Johnson Production Group. Navid Soofi serves as a producer.
A premiere date will be announced later.
