Actor and rapper “Lil Meech,” who stars in the hit Starz drama BMF, was arrested for allegedly stealing luxury Richard Mille watches in Miami.

Demetrius Flenory Jr., known to fans as “Lil Meech,” is the son of former drug lord Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory. In the Starz series he plays his real-life father.

Authorities told the Miami Herald the actor, who lives in Hollywood, Florida, was arrested last week.

The arrest came after he visited Miami’s Haimov Jewelers in February, where he placed a down payment on a Richard Mille watch by trading in his $80,000 platinum Rolex. But, he allegedly never went back to pay the remaining $200,000 balance and never made an effort to return the watch.

He reportedly did return to get the loaned watch repaired, and to borrow an even more expensive Richard Mille worth $350,000, supposedly for a GQ photo shoot. He is said to have signed an agreement promising to return it within three days, but didn’t show up.

According to the Herald, sometime before May 14, the actor was charged with two counts of first-degree grand theft and organized scheme to defraud. His bond was set at $150,000, but as of Wednesday, Lil Meech was no longer in jail.

Police told the paper when they reached out to the 22-year-old star to turn himself in, he hung up on them. So they followed up with a warrant.

Just yesterday, Meech posted pictures on Instagram of himself, wearing a lot of bling, along with the caption “I be in the loop.”  Although he has not made any public comments on his arrest.

BMF is inspired by the true story of Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory and his brother, Terry “Southwest T” Flenory. The two siblings created one of the most prominent drug trafficking organizations in the U.S. known as the Black Mafia Family.

Cast members include Russell Hornsby, Da’Vinchi, Steve Harris, Michole Briana White and La La Anthony. Just last week, executive producer 50 cent announced that Oscar-winning actress Mo’Nique is joining the series for season 2.

In the past, creator Randy Huggins has noted that this new season will be bigger and better than ever.
